Antoine Chiquet, the board member of Segal Family Foundation and advisor of the board of The Village Microclinic visited The Village Microclinic, this Tuesday August 9, 2022. The purpose of his visit was to inquire about the progress of The Village Microclinic activities so far.
Dr Tharcisse Nshimirimana, the founder and CEO of The Village Microclinic told him the importance of the first medical pavilion which comes to help the people in the neighboring area of the medical polyclinic, who, to get to the hospital, would have to go down a steep slope and travel long distances.
Recognizing the full implications, the endeavor and the determination of Dr Tharcisse Nshimirimana and all the team at The Village Microclinic, Antoine Chiquet appreciated the promising progress of The Village Microclinic.
He therefore provided The Village Microclinic’s staff with guidelines and advices so as to attain better health services outcomes and therefore contribute to the achievement of the sustainable development goals in Burundi.
